JOB OPPORTUNITY: Creative Producer

Role: Creative Producer

Reports to: Creative Director

Based: mixed remote and Swinegate Court East, Swinegate, York, YO1 8AJ

Salary: £36,000 pro-rata

Contract: Fixed term, employee contract, starting asap, until April 2023, full time, with open scope for flexible working. We are looking for a Creative Producer to develop and deliver high-quality new productions and events for York Mediale. The Creative Producer will be a fantastic networker and communicator, will maintain relationships with high-level partners, locally, nationally and internationally, and will play a key role in the development of our projects, brand and profile. The Creative Producer will also take a strategic and curatorial role in the development of projects and commissions, closely consulting with the Creative Director.

Mediale is an international media arts agency. We develop, produce, exhibit and tour work from artists working around the blurred edges of digital art. We work year-round to develop and deliver new commissions, live events and artistic development. We deliver careful, long-term interventions & holistic artist development, whilst producing high profile arts events that stimulate new thinking. Through incorporating technologies into their works, the artists we work with bridge the gap between the new and the traditional, to challenge and inspire. We work alongside artists, building trust through our actions, not just our words, to create lasting relationships, collaborations and partnerships with those who share and champion our values.

Mediale’s key strength is its team, which is made up of a diverse range of expertise with knowledge bases from a wide scope of creative mediums, from Immersive technology, to music, performance and visual arts. All of our projects are critical and engaged, with an unapologetically high production standard. We want to build on this rich and diverse team, so in your application, tell us the new expertise, experience or contacts you feel you could bring to the team. Specialisms are very welcome.
