Collaborations

Loop.pH are back with another free workshop for all the family

Do you love plants and insects?

Would you like to be involved in building part of a living installation that will be in the Artists Garden at York Art Gallery throughout the summer?

Loop.pH, the artists building the giant Pollinarium, will be back in the Artists Gardens, behind York Art Gallery this weekend – to build the second part of this remarkable installation.

Gardening enthusiasts, families with children and volunteers of all kinds, are invited to join in with planting a variety of interesting plant species in the plant pavillion and helping the artists construct a large space frame structure called the archilace! No experience is necessary.

Drop into the Artists Garden behind York Art Gallery anytime between 11am and 5pm on 11 & 12 August to join in the fun, on what is set to be a glorious, green fingered day! Entry is absolutely free.

Summer Activities at the Pollinarium

Family-friendly events and activities organised by St Nicks Centre for Nature and Green Living (York) will be running every Wednesday and Saturday from 8 August – 26 September in the Artists Gardens. From pollinator walks, storytelling and a night time safari, there is something for everyone.
